August - Cruise To Naples

..
on Tuesday August 22nd four Boats ( KENTUCKY LADY,
BOTTOM TIME, HAWKSHAW and DEE LIGHT
) from the Royal Palm Yacht Club headed to Naples ..
BOTTOM TIME lead the Flotilla and KENTUCKY LADY
stayed at the rear to make sure that everyone made it .. after
being at Sea for about an hour KENTUCKY LADY backed off
to a Trawler speed apparently to conserve Fuel .. once
KENTUCKY LADY made it to the Gordon Pass they took another
Fuel conservation measure by shutting down the Starboard Engine
.. this made docking at the Naples Yacht and Sailing Club
a little more of a challenge for Captain Dick .. but they made
it just in time to join the others at Joe's Crab for lunch and
an EXTRA LARGE draft of beer .. after lunch we all took our
Dinghies up the Gordon Pass .. later Bill and Nancy Baer (
C'EST LA VIE ) joined us for a dinner of Heavy hors
d'oeuvres back at the Yacht Club ..
