Friday, April 13, Julie and Ken
Kelly opened their lovely home and
extensive grounds located off an oxbow
of the Caloosahatchee so that fellow
RPYC members could enjoy the camaraderie
of getting together. It was a lovely
day to explore the intriguing house,
stroll around the property, sit in the
shade of the native Florida trees and
towering red bougainvillea or take a
canoe out on the river. One
entertainment was playing with the
radio-controlled yacht on their pond, in
competition with the resident baby
alligator. The Kellys’ generous
hospitality included lovely hors
d’oeuvres and huge subs and salads,
which we could choose to enjoy on the
veranda, or any number of relaxing
places indoors or out. We all thank
Julie and Ken for a memorable RPYC
experience. |
