Cruise Leaders Appreciation Party

On Friday, November 13, RPYC Cruise Leaders for the 2008-2009 watch
year were recognized for their contributions toward the active life of
the club. A total of 27 fleet activities, including cruises of
varying lengths, lunch cruises, and fleet-ins provided opportunities
for on- and off-water socializing and fun. 2008-2009 Fleet Captain Herb Schneider recognized leaders of multiple cruises, and boaters who were the most active participants. Fifty-four members were thanked for their
efforts in maintaining RPYC's record as the "cruisingest club in
FCYC." Names of all cruise leaders are engraved on a plaque which was
presented to Past Commodore Mar Guveiyian and Commodore Chuck
Williamsen for installation within the club.
