On Saturday, December 12, there was a surprise snow storm in Fort  Myers!  RPYC members arrived at the club to discover that the  Wheelhouse Dining Room was a winter wonderland of snow.  Fortunately,  we did not have to follow any snowplows to enjoy the sparkle of giant  snowflakes and glow of "candlelight" in the drifts!  The great music  by Kelly and Shelly had everyone on their feet all evening.  We even  had a light show (the Northern Lights?) to brighten our night.  Mr. J,  Chef David and his kitchen crew, delighted us with absolutely  delicious specialties including mini crab cakes and other delicious  hors d'oeuvres, beef carpaccio, special entrees, and flaming baked  Alaska.  Each course was more spectacular.  The serving staff truly  were wonderful in seeing that every member was well served throughout  the evening.  Karen Dekkers gave us valuable support in making  arrangements.  RPYC is very lucky to have such a capable staff.  Many  thanks to all. A big thank you also to Charlene Borys for designing and creating the  decorations, and to Richard Borys for his assistance in helping spread  the white stuff.  We really appreciate and thank the photographers who  captured the fun:  Marv Market, Lars Larsen and Fred Eden.  Of course,  no party can be successful without the enthusiasm of the party-goers.   Thank you for attending the Snowflake Ball and helping to make it a  memorable RPYC event !
