Wow!! What a night for Amore! More than eighty members and guests joined in the festivities as we celebrated Valentine’s Day with a smashing dinner dance. Several Club members came forward to add their hand to decorating the Club in a very elegant way. The Club looked beautiful! The tables were highlighted with sparkly red hearts, vases of pink, white and red carnations, heart-shaped eye shades, as well as lovely red and white fans, with many valentine candies adorning the tables. The sweetheart decoration of the evening was a rather large gorgeous heart filled to the brim and beyond with homemade cookies, candies from a local chocolatier, and lovely candy favors. The heart was graciously made by Nita and Carson Spitler who spent many hours designing, constructing and decorating this marvelous heart which now belongs to the Club. Our chef and crew went above and beyond the call of duty in creating, preparing the fantastic dinner. The crème de la crème was the best dessert I have tasted in many years with a presentation that matched the delicious flavors of the lemon, raspberry, white chocolate amore. It was delightful and added to the ambiance of the evening. Our staff worked tirelessly making sure everyone had great service and a wonderful dining experience. Many revelers stayed and danced the evening away to some pretty snappy music. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely and look forward to next year’s gala event. Kudos to those who came forward and helped make this evening affair something very special.
