Friday afternoon eight
vessels from the Royal Palm Yacht Club were greeted by
“Paul” the St. Charles Yacht Club Harbormaster and the
four RPYC “Land Lubber” Cruise Leaders. The Royal Palm
crews were each provided with Fran’s tasty and potent
concoction after they were safely moored by the
Harbormaster.
Friday evening 58 RPYC
members had a very lively cocktail hour in the
traditional nautical atmosphere of the St. Charles Yacht
Club bar where we were pampered by the ever efficient
St. Charles staff. Following cocktails the group
entered the dining area and formed groups of six to ten
for a very nice dinner. The extensive menu included
sumpsous items suited to everyone’s taste and the
service was better than expected considering the number
of folks in the gathering.
