The NEW MEMBER C’MON ABOARD cruise hosted 14 boats with four new members joining us for the first time.  We spent Friday afternoon welcoming the boats and introducing the Smiths’ and Gibsons’ to their fellow RPYC cruisers.  Friday evening we enjoyed cocktails and camaraderie in the charming bar at St. Charles and than moved to the dinning room for a delicious meal.  Saturday began with a breakfast buffet on the dock.  A walk commenced at 11 a.m. and continued for an hour, walking through the gorgeous  neighborhood of St. Charles.  The weather in the afternoon was iffy but everyone enjoyed sitting around the pool.  Our evening meal was complements of all the cruisers with heavy hors d’ oeuvres followed by our evening entertainment, the movie the Blind Side.  Sunday morning the weather went from iffy to ugly.  After an early juice, coffee, and muffin, the weekend at St. Charles came to an end.  I must add St. Charles has a GEM of a new GM.  Jill did everything possible to make our weekend perfect and she certainly succeeded.
