Cruise Leaders Tollie and Mary Rich and Len and Liz Zych welcomed over 30 boaters and guests to the annual Cape Harbour Cruise August 6-8.  Participants included Jim and Bonnie Barnhart, Chester and Pam Blackford, Len and Chris Burger, Rich Geib, Gene and Barb Greco, Charlie and Mar Guveiyian, Phil and Ann Johnston, Jim and Sharon McKinley, Charlie and Dorothy Munsch, Carl and Terri Natale, Rick and Lindsey Scheinert, Jerry and Kay Smith,  Gary and Kathy Tapken,  and guest  Virginia Doss.

The water was smooth, the winds were calm and the temperature was high, all conducive to good boating and pool time.  Tollie Rich directed the boats to their assigned slips and all headed to the pool and pavilion to relax and enjoy the welcome drink(s) of Rumrunners prepared by Mary and Tollie Rich.  After delicious appetizers and cocktails that evening, we all walked to Rumrunners restaurant for a great dinner. 

Boaters were treated to a hot breakfast on Saturday at the Cape Harbour clubhouse prepared and served by the cruise leaders.  Jim McKinley's ladle eggs were a hit with the low carb dieters and Liz Zych's waffles went fast along with sausage, salmon, mimosas, screwdrivers  and bloody marys.  The balance of the morning and afternoon were spent lounging at the pool and pool games.  Dorothy Munsch and Liz Zych put the men to shame as they demonstrated their golfing abilities in the pool games.  On Saturday night, boaters were treated to beef tenderloin prepared by Len and Liz Zych, and wonderful side dishes along with complementary wine selections .  Then we all hit the dance floor to the music of Karlo to burn off the consumed calories.

After a Sunday continental breakfast at the pavilion, boaters headed for home.
