started
as a
small
but
elite
group
of
intrepid
boaters
who
made
their
way
to
the
RPYC
docks
for
the
Labor
Day
Fleet-In
hosted
by
Carol
and
Marv
Market
on
Dee
Light
and
joined
by
Tom
and
Lynn
Laskey
on
Ocean
Romance
and
Charlie
and
Dorothy
Munsch
on
Placid
One
...
but
we
kept
on
picking
up
participants
along
the
way
...
...
on
Friday
evening
we
met
up
with
an
equally
intrepid
group
of
land
cruisers
for
cocktails
and
a
light
dinner
at
the
Club
before
boarding
a
chartered
shuttle
for
downtown
Ft.
Myers
and
the
monthly
Art
Walk
which
we
combined
with
an
impromptu
Pub
Crawl
....
we
concluded
our
evening
at
the
stately
Veranda
Restaurant
where
we
enjoyed
their
intimate
and
cozy
piano
bar
before
being
chauffeured
back
to
the
Club
...
...
on
Saturday
after
breakfast
we
were
joined
by
Lindsey
and
Rick
Scheinert
who
arrived
on
Boomer
and
we
headed
over
to
the
Butterfly
Estates
...
after
a
very
enlightening
tour
of
the
Butterfly
Conservatory
we
stayed
for
lunch
at
Flutterbys
Cafe
and
finished
with
ice
cream
and
home-made
fudge
samples
from
the
Ice
Cream
and
Fudge
Factory
...
Saturday
evening
we
met
for
cocktails
aboard
Dee
Light
before
going
to
the
Club
for
dinner
...
guests
of
the
Laskeys,
Brenda
and
Lee
also
joined
us
for
the
Prime
Rib
Night
where
we
all
danced
the
night
away
with
Karlo
who
really
got
the
crowd
up
and
moving
...
Sunday
morning
after
a
leisurely
breakfast
buffet,
Boomer
and
Placid
One
headed
for
home
while
Ocean
Romance
and
Dee
Light
decided
to
stay
another
night
( it
was
still
a
holiday
after
all!
)
and
we
wish
to
thank
all
who
participated
in
making
this
a
very
enjoyable
weekend
