We were
very
fortunate
that
“Mother
Nature”
decided
our
weekend
was too
important
to rain
on our
fleet-in!
A total
of 13
boats
arrived
from
Wednesday
on to
help
celebrate
our very
important
“Change
of
Watch”
dinner
dance.
All
boats
were in
by
Friday
afternoon.
some
stayed
aboard
their
boats
relaxing
and
reading,
some
went to
town on
bikes
and a
number
of
members
met at
the pool
to cool
off and
enjoy
each
others
company.
Friday
evening,
tables
were set
aside
for the
fleet-in
participants
for Pub
Night.
All
enjoyed
an
evening
of
eating
and
dancing.
Saturday
morning,
we
enjoyed
a full
breakfast
bar of
eggs,
bacon,
sausage,
home
fries,
sweet
rolls,
bagels
and
fruit
Some of
the
ladies
played
Mah
Jongg in
the
morning
and
others
continued
on in
the
afternoon.
A number
of us
met once
again at
poolside
for a
relaxing
afternoon.
Saturday
evening
all
dressed
to the
“10’s”
we were
treated
to an
elegant
evening
at the
“Change
of
Watch”
ceremony
hosted
by the
Blue
Gavel.
Sunday
morning
some met
on the
back
deck for
coffee
before
heading
home.
The
weather
was
wonderful
and
Mother
Nature
certainly
did
shine
upon our
weekend.
On
behalf
of the
entire
fleet in
crew we
extend
our best
wishes
to the
incoming
Officers
and
Directors
for the
upcoming
year.
