On
December
3rd,
four
RPYC
boats
made
their
way
to
the
Ft.
Myers
Yacht
Basin.
We
were
joined
that
evening
by
the
Ferrys,
Markets,
and
Wests
to
enjoy
hors
d’
oeuvres
on
the
dock,
a
chilly
but
cozy
gathering,
and
then
on
to
the
once
a
month
“Art
Walk”
in
the
River
District.
Saturday
morning
we
had
breakfast
at
the
Oasis
Restaurant
and
then
we
ventured
on
to
the
Butterfly
Estates.
I
don’t
think
any
of
us
knew
to
much
about
Butterfly’s,
but
we
came
away
with
a
wealth
of
knowledge.
In
the
early
afternoon
we
walked
to
the
Hideaway
Bar
on
Dean
St.
and
had
the
best
crab
cake
sandwich
this
side
of “Balmore”,
hun.
Cocktails
on
Mad
Hatter
and
then
on
to
the
Morgan
House
to
consume
another
satisfying
meal.
After
dinner
we
wondered
over
to
the
Bar
Association
on
Hendry
St.
for
a
little
conversation
and
night
cap.
It
was
an
enjoyable
weekend
discovering
some
of
the
delights
of
downtown
Ft.
Myers.
