presented
and
analyzed
for
the
Adventurers
the
program
for
the
opening
of
the
symphony's
2007-08 season,
emphasizing
Beethoven's
Ninth
Symphony
and
particularly
its
fourth
movement,
the
"Ode
to
Joy".
Those
going
on
to
the
matinee
concert
at
Mann
Hall
were
treated
to
an
exciting
performance
led
by
Michael
Hall, making
his
debut
as
the
orchestra's
new
music
director
and
principal
conductor.

day's
Adventure
included
Sunday
brunch
at
the
club,
the
talk
by
Beethoven
authority
Charles
Heard,
VIP
parking,
and
tickets
for
the concert.
