Adventure Leaders - Bob and Jeanne Fuchs

Charles Heard,  pianist for the Southwest Florida Symphony and assistant conductor of its chorus, presented and analyzed for the Adventurers  the program for the opening of the symphony's 2007-08 season, emphasizing Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and particularly its fourth movement, the "Ode to Joy".  Those going on to the matinee concert at Mann Hall were treated to an exciting performance led by Michael Hall, making his debut as the orchestra's new music director and principal conductor.  A truly Royal Adventure !   The day's Adventure included Sunday brunch at the club, the talk by Beethoven authority Charles Heard, VIP parking, and tickets for the concert.  Our thanks to Mr. Heard for making time in his jam-packed day to come speak to us.
