Cabbage Key Luxury Cruise
The fourth annual trip to Cabbage Key Inn began at Tarpon Point Marina, Cape Coral at approximately 4:30 when all 29 RPYC members and guests had boarded the Silver King catamaran.    On board the King the "cabin stewards" Jim, Laquita, Margot and Ernie served wine, beer, cokes and water, both to and from Cabbage Key.   The moon was high in the sky both on the way to Cabbage Key and for the return.  Since it was a week prior to full, it was not as spectacular as last year.  We were honored by the Cabbage Key owner, Ken Wells meeting us at the dock and assisting with the dock lines.

The seating area was in the same location as last year, but we were delighted to be able to watch the running of the “Kentucky Derby” during the one hour open bar before dinner.  Ken Wells and his Cabbage Key staff provided peel & eat shrimp and a cheese selection for our appetizers.

Brian was our dedicated waiter and I did not hear any complaints about his service.  We were served hot rolls and a house salad before the NY Strip or Grouper that we had already selected.  The sides were vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes, hot rolls and for desert we were served the famous Cabbage Key Lime pie.
